Golden Beach State School is committed to an International Education Program and welcomes students from overseas. This can be a wonderful experience, opening up your home and becoming a host family for an international student.
The purpose of these visits is to offer international students an experience of Australian schooling, improve their English skills, and experience the Australian culture. This program also benefits the Golden Beach State School community by exposing our students to international concepts and cultures, while also creating great partnerships with the international community. Families who are involved in billeting our international visitors will be financially paid per student per night and stand to make life-long friendships with families from other countries.
Share your home with an international student from a variety of countries. Homestay families are required to provide a good, caring home for our International students.
