On behalf of the P&C Association, welcome to Golden Beach State School.
The P&C at Golden Beach State School plays an important role in strengthening the partnership between families and the school. Guided by our school motto, Caring, Sharing, Learning Together, we work to build a connected and supportive school community and contribute to a vibrant, engaging learning environment for all students.
The P&C organises events and activities throughout the year and raises funds to support school resources, including information technology, literacy materials, sporting equipment and musical instruments. We also work closely with the school to enhance the physical environment and support initiatives that benefit students.
As a parent or carer, there are many ways to show your child that you value their education at Golden Beach State School. The P&C has a strong tradition of community involvement and welcomes all families to participate in ways that suit their interests and availability. Volunteering can include:
- Assisting with fundraising activities
- Helping in the tuckshop
- Becoming a member of the P&C Association
P&C meetings are held on Thursday evenings at 3:30pm Week 2 and Week 8 each Term. Meeting dates are advertised in the school newsletter and on the school's Facebook page. We warmly welcome all new and existing families and encourage you to get involved in any of the many P&C activities.
